Bugatti Veyron


The Bugatti Veyron is a truly inspiring car. One of the most technical parts, the 7 speed-sequential-DSG – double-clutch-gearbox, is made by motor sport specialist Ricardo in the UK.

The Veyron has the first production tires created for speeds above 248 mph. The carbon fiber monocoque is built by ATR in Italy, the front and rear structure mended out of aluminum  in Germany and the ceramic brakes by AP Racing in Great Britain. The paintwork German, leather Austrian, the windscreen Finland, and many more parts created in different countries. The insane 16 cylinder 8.0 liter engine comes from Volkswagen built in Salzgitter Germany.


The Bugatti Veyron car is assembled in Molsheim, near Strasbourg, France by a small group of 20 highly specialised technicians. In four separate teams the techenicians follow the car from the beginning until the end of the car building process.

Only 300 Bugatti Veyrons will be built. Production started at rate of 50 cars per year, nearly one a week. Bugatti trying to produce more cars and plans to get closer to a yearly output of a 100 in order to speed up the waiting process for customers.

Over 30% of the Bugatti Veyron orders are sent to the United States. The US is most important market for luxury cars.  Germany. 19% of total orders have been placed by Germany. The UK, with a very strong strong relation to the Bugatti brand, is with 16%. The Middle East comes 15%.
